🔧 How to flash the firmware to your tablet (common method)

Most guides suggest using Odin tool on PC. The general procedure:

1. Download the correct firmware file for your exact model (SM-T220) and region (CSC).
2. Extract the downloaded archive (with WinRAR / 7-Zip) to get either a single .tar / .tar.md5 file — or multiple files (AP / BL / CP / CSC / HOME_CSC).
3. Install Samsung USB drivers and connect your tablet to PC via USB.
4. Boot the tablet into Download Mode (e.g. hold Volume Down + Power + other buttons depending on model).
5. Open Odin, and load the firmware files into the correct slots (AP, BL, CP, CSC or HOME_CSC). Important: Do not tick “Re-partition.”
6. Click “Start” — after a few minutes Odin should show “PASS” and the device should reboot with the new firmware.

⚠️ Warnings before flashing

• Make sure you download firmware matching your exact model (SM-T220) and region/CSC. Flashing wrong firmware can brick the device.
• Flashing usually wipes data (unless you use HOME_CSC and know what you are doing). Always backup important data before.
• Using tools like Odin carries some risk — only proceed if you are comfortable, or get help from someone familiar.
